I can sometimes bring along an amateur/budget photographer for some very basic photography, with a moderate quality camera. Helpful service from staff with highly experienced floral designer, helps to make ordering your flowers an enjoyable experience. I highly recommend this new shop for your wedding flowers. Please give two weeks notice for special orders. The arrangements are truly beautiful! I suggest making an appointment for a consultation well in advanace for formal weddings. Flowers Forever J C's Flowers & Mini Mart in Kapaa (Wailua) Safeway C J's Floral Designs Heavenly Hakus For budget walk in - ready made options, try Walmart in Lihue which has a surprisingly good selection of ready made leis at very affordable prices. Check out their cooler by the door. Foodland, Safeway and Longs usually have leis too. Kauai Costco also has a large assortment of ready made simple leis and fancy ones. Selection varies. Very affordable!

They really beautiful custom designs. If she's there, ask her about leis and flowers.

The other side of this shop offers alterations, if your newly purchased wedding dress or groom's pants need hemming. Anara Spa in the Hyatt in Poipu is the lap of luxury, offering full service wedding day packages. Medispa located at 3176 Po'ipu Road in Poipu sometimes offers massage, manicures, pedicures, facials, waxing, microderm, chemical peels, tanning, laser hair removal, non surgical facelifts. They are in the building where "Grantham Resorts" is located. Call for services they offer, as they have changed a little. 742-8500. If you are out and about at the nightspots around Kauai, you might come across a guitarist or uke player that you can hire to play at your wedding. These might be musicians that don't have a website, and perhaps work 2-3 jobs to make ends meet. If you like a musician's sound, Kauai is a friendly island and you can just ask them if they play weddings and see if they are available for yours. If you do this, just let me know so that I can include them in the beach permit. I can tell you where some of these musicians play. Kauai Reception or After Wedding Restaurants Wailua Marina Restaurant is a popular venue for a small wedding reception overlooking the Wailua River. At this time, they do not allow alcoholic beverages. Smith's Tropical Paradise and Luau make an easy wedding reception or "night before" party idea. The Hukilau Lanai at the Kauai Coast Resort, behind the Coconut Marketplace, has an excellent menu Gaylord's in the Lihue/Puhi area is a nice special occasion venue. You might consider their grounds for your ceremony. The Bali Hai Restaurant at the Hanalei Bay Resort in Princeville has very lush surroundings. Keoki's Paradise in Poipu is a romantic restaurant. Plantation Gardens in Poipu will allow your wedding to take place on their grounds before your dinner, for a fee. Meditarranean Gourmet in Ha'ena is the only full service restaurant at that far end of the island. They put on a lu'au which would make a nice celebratory event after your wedding. Some restaurants in the resort areas have been closed for renovations recently, and may be opening before your wedding date. Your vacation rental might allow a reception - there are some that cater to wedding parties - easily found on the web.
